If we’re talking about the Catholic Schools, no. They’ve been integrated LONG before any court said so.

I don’t think anyone has/can order a private school to integrate but there’s been like two black guys in its history.

A lot of rural Catholic Schools began because there was no school for those areas and so the church built one. Most of those areas had a Catholic Church-run school before a public.

The nuns rarely discriminated, or the church for that matter.

95% of the time they will ask the question “What school you went to?” during. And they don’t mean school as in “college”, they mean HS.

Yes it’s fricking weird. Grown arse adults asking other grown arse adults where they went to high school 30 years ago instead of a normal question like what do you do for a living.

So people living in small towns that have normal schools and few ghetto kids have to send them to private school? I’m not talking about living in a crappy school district I’m just wondering why people in nice places still do it..

Probably for the better education. What school system produced your comprehension skills?

We’ve explained this about 45 ways now.

- The Catholic Church has a long history of providing education, worldwide.

- South Louisiana’s entire formation and roots are based in its colonization by Roman Catholics.

- Generations of families have sent and educated their kids in the Catholic School systems. I’m 4th generation and my children will be attending Catholic Schools no matter the quality of our public school system. That’s how much I believe in the mission and education provided.

I have to speak the truth , or at least the perceived truth, around here.
Kids are sent to private schools mainly for racial issues, but will use the guise that it is for religious issues.

My nephews go there.

Unlike when I was at ZHS in the mid to late 90's, they actually provide a good education now. And they have black kids.

Silliman Sluts

Fun fact: Began in 1800's as a Girl's College where girls were taught how to be a proper lady.

Mississippi has about as many private schools as La and Al combined. Let's be honest and open; it's bc black culture drags down the public schools.
