Explain BRICS to me

It seems like kind of a joke. Unlike the G7, those countries really have no shared economic vision.
And that’s not even getting into how some of the members (including founders China and India) hate each other.

All you have to understand is the one thing that unites them is greater than all their differences.

BRICS was the brainchild of a London investment banker who set up some sort of trading on it. They have little in common if the truth be known. So much ado about nothing.
If you think that China and India are allies, you are clueless. Brazil does ship a lot of ore to China as well as timber. Brazil imports a shiiteton of fertilizer per acre. South Africa is collapsing economically. Russia is also collapsing economically due all the money Putin is flushing down the drain in Ukraine. China's debt is 3X the US debt

Sure they do. Replace American economic hegemony with an alliance of rising countries led by China, India and Brazil. Start with a commitment to replace the dollar in those transactions.

The enemies of my enemies are my friends.
Shared needs and situations.

If you think the U.S. has some loose monetary policy, wait until you get a load of what China is up to. The BRICS will never amount to shite.

It is the growing number of countries banding together to get out from under the bloodshed of the Deep State controlled U.S. dollar as the world currency, which was established following WWII.
Hopefully another world war is not necessary. But the Deep State doesn’t seem interested in changing its fiat currency, which is why this country’s military has been used (misused) in constant conflict ever since with no end in sight.

Except it doesn't.
BRICs summits are amazing, in that they come to a joint statement at the end, and essentially every member goes home and immediately denounces it.
These are people stage performing anti-Americanism.

Or.....the invented economic boogeyman of the global trading system who does not know how to even get it's act together to get "members" to attend meetings.

BRICS is just a hedge against sanctions. They know it’s unlikely to push off the dollar from its status. USA is still the world’s daddy.

You need to put this on the poli board.
They can explain how the muh BRICS currency is a real thing.

In order for the dollar to be pushed off, something else has to be more trusted. That was a big reason for the euro. If the euro can’t do it, what else options are out there? Even the Chinese don’t trust the Yen.

BRICS is a growing coalition of countries with the goal of finding method of oil other than the petrodollar (the pricing and selling of oil in US Dollars, which helps keep the USD in demand). The problem they face is that they aren't going to agree to use the currency of any other country so they either have to create their own (which is a tall order when trying to determine how it's valued) or use something like Bitcoin.
The bigger point here is that he USD's value is like a barstool with three legs:
-the value of US debt as an investment vehicle
-its role as primary world reserve currency (the currency countries use most often to trade internationally)
-the petrodollar (which is an offshoot of its role as the primary world reserve currency, but important enough to be its own category)
It's very unlikely that BRICS will agree on a replacement currency anytime soon, but that time gets cut down the more the federal debt grows. In other words, the country most likely to make BRICS actually happen is the US itself, through the government's abysmal record on spending restraints over the last 20+ years.
