His suits are much lower quality than what you're paying for and he also has very questionable taste.

If you want a timeless look and clothes that fit properly, go to George Bass. There is no other real option in Louisiana.

Peyton and Archie Manning trust them. You can too.

Greyson Augustus will come to you in Baton Rouge and mine was about $1200 but I am sure they can get pricier. He does all of the suits for the football players when they walk down the hill

He did shite on all the shirts and shoes that I wore in there to get fitted, but other than that, he was alright.

I like to buy a nice off the rack suit that is larger than me. Size don't matter. Then I go to this old lady by my house who will cut the suit apart and put it back together in my size for $150-200.
Allows me to have a lot of nice suits in multiple colors for less than $500 each.
I actually need to get a few redone after my weight loss.

I have no dog in this fight, other than not wanting to see someone waste money.

These 2 are not comparable in any way. GB is an actual luxury car. Martinez is a Camaro with a $125,000 window sticker. You can pay that if you want, but it’s still a Camaro.

Hear me out, take a flight to Hong Kong and get a suit done by Sam’s tailor. 2 suits, 6 shirts, and a velvet smoking jacket for 2,500. Spent 4 days in Hong Kong, whole trip + flight 5k.

Buy a name brand suit on eBay that is brand new. They are legit new with tags. But it one size bigger and then bring it to a tailor and have it custom fit.

Will save a shite load of money. Just bought a Hugo Boss suit and got it custom fit for $240 all in. Have a legit tailor north of Houston that does great work and very affordable. Can’t believe she hasn’t raised her prices yet. $120 she will do anything you need for coat and pants.

I have a suit and a sport coat from Luca Falcone in NO.

It is a good experience. But it is expensive.
Go in and pick fabric and get measured. 4-6 weeks later first fitting and likely a few minor adjustments then it’s done.

This is the second time I’ve seen this said; what do you mean by “one size bigger”? If shoulder width, that’s terrible advice, as shoulder width is probably the most difficult alteration you can do on a suit, if it’s possible at all. The shoulders are the most important thing to get right if buying a suit off the rack to get tailored.

And if we aren’t talking shoulder width, then I have no idea what that means

$100 each set delivered to my hotel the next day. Amazing suits.
