Does anyone have any examples of this happening? The way the media covers these stories they act as if police officers simply walk up to black people minding their own business and execute them.

But, it seems the common thread to all these shootings/deaths, are the victims resisting arrest or brandishing a weapon

Does anyone have an example of someone being shot and/or killed when not doing either of those?

Walter Scott

Resisting arrest does not warrant the death penalty, btw.

I like how resisting arrest carries the penalty of death for so many here.

Going to be epic when they come for your guns.

A car is a weapon. People need to get this through their heads. It is a very deadly weapon. More so than a firearm.

Those two things are not mutually exclusive. Do these people deserve to die just because they resist arrest? Of course not. Would they still be alive if they hadn’t resisted arrest? Absolutely. Some people are too stupid for their own good.

ETA:

1. Don’t break the law
2. Don’t resist arrest if you do
3. Don’t associate with felons in your free time

That’s a 3 step process for not being killed by police. Every single person there’s been a riot over would still be alive if they were smart enough to follow those simple guidelines.

Philando Castile he had a gun but was trying to do the right thing and let the officer know.
Walter Scott didn’t resist but he did run.

ETA: I’m saying those were both bad shoots. Not refuting other posters that mentioned them.

I can’t remember who broke it down but of the less than 20 unarmed black shoots in 2020 all but 8 of them were resisting arrest or while attacking the officer. Most of them failed to mention using a vehicle or other form of weapon.

So you think a car can't be used as a weapon? Are you retarded or just willfully ignorant?

Wait, wait, let me guess. You are a mind reader and can see the future so you know he wouldn't have harmed anybody intentional or not with the vehicle while getting away?

Yes.

At the same time, a handful would be alive if the LEO involved had an IQ above room temperature.

It’s not that resisting arrests warrants the death penalty, but it’s that the whole situation could’ve been avoided if the person either didn’t break the law to begin with, or didn’t resist arrest once stopped.

This is not a justification for any of the shootings, but it does show that most of them could’ve been easily avoided.

But I’m sure you know this already.

Haven't you seen that movie where a guy swung one around by the cord and bashed a dude?

Obviously a good shoot.

That’s too hard for some to do. They would rather blame others for their frick ups. Zero accountability.
