Ah shite dude, you were asking for it
Hell, in that case id keep her around on okay terms for the occasional smash if possible

I guess I'm just thinking about it in my own terms and how I've experienced it. I wasn't trying to say that people don't make mistakes; I definitely understand that.

Very common theme lately. Cut all ties. Don't answer any correspondence from her at all. Not one single thing.
I didn't listen to the dudes on TD with experience, and it made the situation worse for me. Once I cut her off, I stopped worrying about everything after like a week
Eta: I fricked her 20 year old coworker and she knows

In my experience, a good woman doesn't cheat on a good man, and vise versa.

Very grey area. People are selfish and will seek out emotional and sexual connections elsewhere if they aren't being met. It is what we are.

Revenge sex, get her pregnant, dissappear forever, that will teach her whores arse. Then when the kid is 18 find him/her and tell them that their mom keep them from you.. Works every time.

if your done you should not respond to her letter in anyway.
Do not contact her in anyway.
Do Not communicate with her in anyway.
Which means ignoring texts and voicemails.
Complete silence.
Sit back and watch her melt down.
Remember complete silence is the key.

Be cool and cold. Don't act mad just disappointed. Move on and I could burn her for years.

Nothing drives a women more crazy than complete silence and being totally ignored.
The meltdown is lengthy and epic.

Long story short, I found out that my gf of over a year has been cheating.
On the bright side, at least she wasn't/isn't your spouse.
quote:
She hasn't confronted me, but instead dropped off a letter at my house, the gist of which is her apologizing & asking for a second chance.
Better than finding out yourself, I suppose. And at least she had the "decency" to cop to it & apologize, albeit in a letter. Better than nothing, really.

So OT, should I:
a) tell her to frick off in the most assholish/dickish way possible? Or...
b) not stoop down to her level & kindly tell her it's over
Don't know, but whatever your decision, make sure you stick to it. The back & forth thing is probably the worst thing to put yourself through, imo. Good luck.

Give it to her good one last time. Follow that up by telling her you cant do it anymore.

Stay far away with no contact. If not, she'll use the jedi mind tricks that women possess and before you know it she'll convince you it's your fault she strayed. Then you'll buy an engagement ring and after the wedding you'll find out she bagged your best man after the rehearsal dinner.
