This is obviously an AI video but certain videos produced by that technology can be used brilliantly for educational purposes. I love the fixed camera trope that allows you to see what one segment of a city looked like as it advances through the sands of time.

Except, it doesn't involve making kids read. That is what is going to turn us into Idiocracy; constant consumption while "I'm bating!"

I saw one error of AI in that video. It showed Mussolini’s 1922 march through Rome carrying German Nazi Swastika flags. The National Fascists Party flag looked nothing like that. frick off robot video maker.

Damn, was going to post this last week but forgot….have that tiktok brain now.

Amazing how we forget how advanced Romans were in every facet. Then we had to go through them dark ages and live in our shite again.

Rome can blame illegal immigration for its loss of identity and downfall.

The elites importing cheap labor is thousands of years old:
quote:

If Rome had not engulfed so many men of alien blood in so brief a time,

if she had passed all these newcomers through her schools instead of her slums, if she had treated them as men with a hundred potential excellences,

if she had occasionally closed her gates to let assimilation catch up with infiltration,

she might have gained new racial and literary vitality from the infusion, and might have remained a Roman Rome, the voice and citadel of the West.

LOSS OF COMMON LANGUAGE

At first immigrants assimilated and learned the Latin language. They worked as servants with many rising to leadership.

But then they came so fast they did not learn Latin, but instead created a mix of Latin with their own Frankish, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian, Germanic and Anglo tribal tongues.

The unity of the Roman Empire began to dissolve.

-- Will and Ariel Durant in The Story of Civilization (Vol. 3 - Caesar and Christ, 1944, p. 366)
eventually there were more slaves in Rome than Romans

and the strategy continues today w/illegal aliens

Went to a very liberal college and if I had said any of this I’d have been inpaled (immediate expulsion/blacklisting). Life over.

But as I’ve gotten older this has become so painfully obvious that it’s hard to ignore. Glad woke is phasing out and people are actually waking up.
