No brands are built like the old days where you could get 20 yrs or more out of a fridge. If you do then consider yourself lucky.
As others have said, it's hit or miss. However, Samsung and LG standout as the brands to avoid.
They look great in stores, but fail at higher rates. I couldn't even g...

I had one of those and stripped a screw on a motor first time I used it. Bought a beam type and have never had any problems....

I monitor the room temperature and get a text if the threshold is exceeded. I can then shut off my unit remotely....
