Proof. Even then, I don't know if it's something I could "worship".

Which sin? I think I do a decent job of 1 of the 2 commandments Jesus gave.

Well, if you have a change of heart, He is always waiting to come into your heart. Just ask Jesus to change your life, forgive you and ask to serve Him. Instantly, you’ll know something is different if said with a sincere heart.

Feel free to bookmark for later.

He already tried that. the world didn't like it and still rejects Him. It's up to the world to meet God on His terms and not their/your terms.

The two largest religions are Christianity and Islam. 76% of the world does not believe Jesus is the son of God.

Yeah the part where some people are penalized for their parents/ancestors actions is where it gets tricky. How is someone who was born in/around non-Christianity supposed to "accept Jesus."

Arrogance of the atheist mindset?

Let's pretend we design it your way. A way that you all think you can respect. God makes the universe, puts us in it and after we die everyone goes to heaven regardless of what they think or did. Now...does that seem like justice? To me it does not. Furthermore it does nothing to incentivize belief in God and learning through scripture. Why bother? When people argue that this would be a fairer way it ultimately falls apart.

By scripture God has said He is the only way. The apostles proclaimed the original faith to save people. Now, this puts another justice dilemma on things as those who might be good by earths standards but are non believers are not saved.

But perhaps this has been designed this way to be the best possible way for us. It allows for us to make choices to trust in God or not. It allows God to be the ultimate justice in the end. It may turn out there will be other chances to come to trust in God- or other circumstances we dont know about. There is plenty of thought about these matters out there because it has not been revealed to us.

These are from a Christian perspective. The atheist worldview has just as many dilemmas to account for.

I'm more of an agnostic. I'm open to the idea of there being a god or gods, and I reserve the right to worship or not worship that god(s) when it makes itself known. I don't see many dilemmas there. Until that time, I'll just continue to try to be a good person.

I don't think anyone is advocating for that.

I just don't want injustice. If a person is a good person, then I don't want them to be punished because they grew up in the wrong part of the world, had different beliefs, didn't want to concern themselves with the intangible, etc.

This is such a flawed sentiment. He literally presented Himself in various ways before Jesus; then He came before man as a man. Many witnessed his work first-hand, yet still turned away. What makes you think you’re the special example of an unbeliever who would change by merely seeing “proof”?

Still, if you think it would change your mind, then I pray you see the proof you desire before your time here is up.

What about the people who are generally good and just not exposed to your God? What about the ones that do and continue to commit crimes against humanity?

These religions took extreme active recruitment from men. Mortals. Literally creating death in it's wake.

I get where you are coming from.

So many questions out there for us all.

What is a good person?

How could everyone born everywhere in the world possibly have the same knowledge of God?

How does the universe eternally exist or how did it come to be? How did space, time, and matter start?

How did we ever develop into beings let alone thinking beings?

Why would God allow evil or suffering?

If there is no God then what is justice - what is good or evil?

Why would God make a sinful world in need of saving?

Etc

Even beyond that, are people saying that there is this god and everything they've put in front of me has led me to believe that they don't exist and yet I'm supposed to burn eternally because of it? Sounds like a petty god. frick that guy.

I'm not saying I'm special. I still may not decide to worship him after seeing proof. I'd know he exists, I just may not want anything to do with him.
