Why is the guy in orange trying to talk like a black guy?

Who cares what other people do with their money. I’ll never understand this OT obsession.
Someone with 2 kids in private school and a country club membership has a lot less money than some guy with no kids or less kids and a 80k truck.

Dbag wasn’t a “cop”. Police officers don’t refer to themselves as “cops”. That’s tv crap. He’s just some loser winding you up.

You got to listen a little more… that is clearly the accent of the trailer park , lot b , back side with a red wood deck and polyester curtains.

I’ve never been a cop but figured my post could get a few people on the OT riled up and punch a wall.
LOL
If you really wanted to get the emotional low IQ guys fired up, you should have said you were a teacher with all of that overtime.
Or maybe a server at a restaurant making big money.

Teacher would have been a better play I agree

I look at it as “how much are you willing to sell leisure or time with your family for?”

Massive amounts of OT
Going to be a lot more popular once its tax free.
I do IT work but was still on hourly pay for the first few years of my career before the going on salary promotion and would drum up OT work from other teams in need if my team didn’t have any on offer.
Would take all I could get with three young kids and my wife still going to college.
Salary changed my attitude, frick working for free.
That day care is fricking expensive.

I wasn't bragging about money, just stating what I've decided to do. And i don't tell anyone in person about my personal finances, as that's another thing I was told early. But in an anonymous site I'm sure it's ok.

And don't you fret I have no problem getting good (and bad) women to be interested in me. 'I gots to beat them off with a stick".

Good for you. I prefer my corporate job where I make that on my first deal and try to close 3-4 deals a year. I’m also at the point where I’m “only” working 40-50 hours a week.

Enjoy your $50k/yr. Who brags about a) being a cop, and b) having 1 million in retirement? My parents had 1 million in retirement savings and thought that was enough, but they retired in 1994. I’ll trade a few extra years of working for being broke the last 10. Not to mention, I don’t have to wake up and go to work as a cop. I’d rather be an irs auditor than a damn cop.

Ive worked with some real baws who never worked a second of OT. They didn't want their ex to get a cent more than she already got.
I worked with one dude... He was paying two ex wives child support and was about to get married to another women he got pregnant. Drove a new Chevy Silverado 1500. And he bought a house with the girl he was marrying.. I have no idea how he was paying two women child support and wanting to have a note on a new vehicle and a new house.. I hadn't worked with him in years and I would be curious to know his situation now. But... At the time he made it work.
