It rained a ton here, but there was next to no wind. It was strange that the likelihood of a tornado was like 80% but the wind never blew. There was a shite ton of LOUD thunder and the lightning was like a strobe light for about 7 hours straight.

Maybe the squall line ran down a bit on the energy level.

I can assure you there's plenty energy in the squall line, I could probably read by the light. But I agree with the other poster, the wind comes in spurts.
