Ever seen someone try to flex wealth on social media?

So obviously a lot of people post the highlights of their life on social media - vacations, fancy dinners, whatever.
I can think of at least a few of my friends that have posted ads for their homes going up for sale and it seems like an obvious flex. These markets are so hot the home won't be on the market for a week. Presumably if you can afford a 2 million dollar house in your 30s you're probably clever enough to be aware of it.
Just seems like an odd flex to me.

Instagram is fake wealth central. I have friends who flaunt the things they blow their money on, but they and everyone else know they ain’t rich.

i went to high school with a trust fund baby
all he does is buy 200k vehicles and 500k+ boats and shows himself taking vacations to parts of the Caribbean on instagram and shite
it's annoying when i think about it but i just ignore it
all i know is he reeeeally knows how to spend money, not so much about how to make it

My buddy does this on Facebook. He does it to show his girlfriend from high school how well he’s doing, says she broke and fat & only 3 people from his class are out earning him as far as he can tell, which means other dudes from his high school are posting shite also. We give him shite about it, otherwise low key normal guy, but something must have happened in high school.
