I met plenty of shitty Filipinos when I lived in Ketchikan, Alaska back in the mid 80s. Not all were shitty, or even most. But a good deal were.

One of the ROV boats I worked on had a Phillipino crew. Dudes worked their asses off but the food was terrible.

I’ve met two Filipino’s while taking samples on a ship and talked to them for like 10 seconds. Both were pretty cool I guess

I hear that if you have to get a mail order bride, make it a Filipino. Those women know their place, and don't immediately get assimilated into bitches once they meet American women and get infected with the bitch-itis.

There are a lot better of them in Juneau. Most are pretty good people. They are very clannish though.

Most of the Filipinos I meet are pretty cool. Lots of them served in the military.

Worked with numerous Filipino nurses since I moved to AZ. They busted their arse and would work crazy overtime and all the ones I knew were great nurses.
Loved when they would bring Filipino food. Pancit is soooo good.
Someone else mentioned very clannish. That is the case with the group I worked with. Many of them all lived in one neighborhood that was mostly Filipino. Numerous families that celebrate all holidays together and throw big elaborate parties. But unless you are also Filipino...you won't be invited.

Yes. Served at a restaurant when I was younger with a majority Filipino staff. A lot actually were pricks to anyone not Filipino.
