True story:
A cousin of mine, who was a midget, worked on an oil platform off the cost of Louisiana back in the 1980s. He fell off into the water one day and before they could save him, a shark ate him. He was never found.
I swear to god this is a true story.

Pretty sure you're not supposed to say midget anymore.

I drug a shark onto the beach in Creole and kicked it to death.

We took a vacation to Destin one summer and my little brother and his friends found another group of kids around their age and would hang out with them the last few days of the trip around a sandbar. The morning we left our beach house we heard that earlier that morning one of the girls they were hanging out with got killed by a bull shark around said sandbar.

The way the story is told, its almost as if the shark was waiting for a midget to drop into the water.

Just my absentee father, Quint.
I made a mint suing the Amity Island and that company that makes yellow barrels, though. "Three barrels are guaranteed to keep him above water", my arse.

I know a commercial diver that got swallowed up to his waist by a grouper. He was able to free himself but that has to be a experience.

Legend has it there was a ladder hanging off the platform but his arms were too short to reach

A few years ago my cousin hit a shark fishing off the gulf and it broke the lower unit off his boat motor
He didn't have any way to contact anybody and ended up adrift out there. Eventually they found his boat washed up on the beach in the Dominican Republic but my cousin was never found. That was 3 months later. He had been scratching notches into the console and he made 2 months plus somehow

If he was never found, how do you know what happened to his boat?
