Just the sound of which entraps you, pulls you in, makes you stop what you are doing and turn down the world?

Where you hush someone else and simply ride on the æthereal tones. A little slice of heaven singing songs the way you've never heard, changing them, creating something just jaw-droppingly breathtaking.

Jasmine Thompson-Like I'm gonna lose you
When I was your man
Say Something

She's 15 and has probably one of the Top 5 voices I've ever heard.

What voices are like that with you?

Here's some other ones that get me.

Reba and Linda Davis

When whoever's in New England through with you
Every other weekend

Barbara Mandrell-If Loving You is Wrong

So smoky and sultry.

Doesn't have to be musical.

You might like Fran Dreshner's voice

Fran Drescher's voice was kinda hot in her prime.

I like raspy voices too. ScarJo, for example.

Doesn't even have to be female.

The Sound of silence?

Jasmine Thompson-wrecking ball

I mean, right here, she takes a cover of a good song and knocks it out of the park.

Just makes it heavenly.

Lucinda Williams. She sounds like she's been drinking whiskey and smoking cigarettes and getting horny.

I despise breathy and mumbly vocals so much

To each their own. Too many pop singers are copying that style nowadays IMO.

Jokes aside, RIP Christina. Really unfortunate that she lost her life in that way.

Man, sometimes... It isn't even the song. It's a voice that brings you back to happier times. To lovers lost and brothers buried.

This whole damned menagerie is a shite show. People die before their time and people linger long after they are gone and us left in the middle are supposed to make sense of it all.

And the truth of it is it's bullshite.
