Ever called 911?

For why?
When I was a kid I remember my dad getting so pissed off that all of the traffic lights were out on Airline that he picked up the gigantic bag phone and called 911 to let them know.
I have only called once; when I found a half naked toddler in the road.

Yes, twice, when I found my parents at their respective homes near death.

I used to use it when I first got my phone to report drivers in BR that ran red lights and didn't use turn signals.

I just remembered something. I was 13 and went to visit some cousins in the mobile area, we went to the pier. Stupid 7year old cousin picks up the pay phone, dials 911 and says "help help someone's drowning!" And hung up. a few min later the whole brigade shows up. He starts laughing and tells his mom it's because "he did a prank call". We quietly left then scene and when we got back to their house she BEAT HIS arse. Big time. Borderline abuse

Yes. Once because my neighbor's home was struck by lightening. I've called the non-emergency BRPD line several times for random shite that needed their attention but wasn't super urgent.

1. When my first born had a febrile seizure. Freaked us the frick out.
2. When second child did the same & started turning blue. Really? WTF?
3. Wreck on highway.

Yep. Called when my mother had a massive heart attack from her chemo treatment. Seemed like an eternity for EMS to show up. She was running her bath water one minute and the next she was gone. I'll never forget the emotions that ran through me seeing that go down in front of me with my stepdad panicking trying to get help.

Last week. Suspicious vehicle with two people in it, lights off, just sitting on the side of the construction entrance road to our community.

Witnessed a fatal wreck on I12. Called a second time cause it seemed like it took forever for them to get there and this poor lady was screaming the whole time. It was actually less than 10 minutes but felt like an hour.
