Apparently extreme temps and flooding seem to be the most they get. Watching the tornado of 2011 in Tuscaloosa and realized I rarely hear about natural disasters in Europe. Seems strange.

Plague and man-made, sure, but not what we see here in the states from mother nature.

The black plague wasn’t a natural disaster?

The spread of liberalism has been Europe’s greatest natural disaster.

Europe overall does fare much better than the rest of the world about this. I've thought about this before and figured this was how they have so many centuries old buildings and castles. Would have a lot more if it weren't for the devistating wars.

Tornadoes happen there, but are much more common in North America than anywhere else in the world.

Yep. Even Putin is buddy-buddy with Kadyrov. Yeltsin wasn't. But he gone.

Yep, the US gets 1000+ tornadoes a year while the second place country (Canada) only gets around 100 per year. Everywhere else combines for 100-200.

The deadliest tornado of all time occurred in Bangladesh, however.
