I agree. One employee was showing me they grow the fresh herbs in the back of the building one nnoght. too bad the owner can't be more pleasant. It could just be he is a New Yorker.

It's not just Lent, it's all the time nowadays. I kinda think they actually make things worse, that people would be able to find spots. But that parking lot is a mess and you would probably have vehicles backed way up on Plank Road.

The fresh mozz you mentioned was the problem (his problem). I ordered a Margherita Pizza to go. I arrived before it was finish and I could hear the owner yelling at someone in the back that they forgot to take the mozzarella out of the freezer. So a few minutes later, I'm handed the box, I pay and walk out. Get in my truck and notice the bottom of the box is already dripping with water. I open it and it was the worst pizza I had ever seen. When I picked up a slice, everything just sloshed off. So, I carry it back in and I showed it to the cashier and she agreed it wasn't right. So I ask if I can get another pizza. And dipshit come from behind his cooking area yelling at me that I don't know what pizza is suppose to be like I didn't know what I was talking about. Then he yells at the cashier for agreeing with me. So I tell him that I understand everyone has a bad day, and if he could just make me another pizza it would be fine. He then starts to curse at me saying how dare I say that I would not eat the pizza he had already cooked. That's when I had enough. I open the box, which was pretty much falling apart from all the water saturation, attempted to pick up a piece and ask him would he eat the pizza. He shoved the cashier out of the way, got some money out and said never to come back again.
And yea, I do believe I have a right to say the pizza I purchased was crap. If you had seen it, you'd say the same thing.

Indias on Essen. Never anyone there.
55 people inside, 0 cars in the parking lot. Of course, Indians walk everywhere.

Try that place around lunchtime. They do all their business between 11:30 and 1:30. Shoot, I've gone there a few times and had to sit at the bar because all the tables were taken.

the Waffle House bar.
Port Royal actually stays fairly busy.
They get a shite ton of the service industry types. Weird place but I've been to worse bars.

Give it 5 more years. They are in a great location and if they were in the Londoner's location, they'd be closed yesterday. Horrible trite "Mexican" kibbles and bits.

The Londoner
They are in a pretty good location as far as traffic goes, but not in a great place to target the crowd they need to target. Their food is very good and they need to try to build closer to campus. Still, young college kids will not go. It's a 25-30 age range group.

WHAT!? This place CLEANS UP. It will be around another 30 years until it's turned into a Chinese government facility.
Other places I can think of:
Arby's on Seigen
Podnah's on Sherwood
Drunken Fish on Highland

I go into FYE on occasion to browse used cheap DVDs for the camp, and there are usually only a few customers in there. But they do have a huge selection of gaming fan stuff, anime things, and other odd genre stuff that you usually can only find online or in places like GameStop. It attracts a certain geeky clientele.

I actually went there with a coworker on Friday during lunch break. You'd be shocked the amount of people in there at that time.

Pretty much the hub for soccer fans in BR. The American Outlaws go there i think.
Hence why a lot of people stay out of there. Nothing worse than a bunch of people posing as soccer fans for a couple of months every 4 years, and the rest trying to act as if they've followed the 'sport' their whole lives.
