The video was the best thing that ever happened to her career.

@shananaomi: Erin Andrews testified ESPN wouldn't let her back on air until she did a sit-down interview to clarify leaked vid wasn't a publicity stunt.

Just saw this. Here's a link.

Seeing Erin break down in the courtroom was heartbreaking. No matter what many others think, it's obvious the release of the video has deeply affected her. The sad thing is that she should probably avoid the public eye to gain some sort of peace... but her entire identity is reliant on being in the public eye.

I live here in Nashville so I've seen a lot of the trial in the local news. Before I would have just said that she was over reaching. But what the hotel and that scumbag did was pretty bad, and it has obviously deeply affected her personal life. 75 million is too much, but she does deserve damages.

And people attacking her as some sort of attention whore need to reevaluate their morals. She's the damn victim here.

I don't deny that but 75 million. Of course I know she will not get that but I mean she isn't anyone other than a female sideline reporter.

Will she please just go away? How did that cause $75 million in damage? She seems like a miserable fricking person.

You might hate women, not just Erin Andrews, if that's your takeaway from this story.

That was hard to watch and it sounds like ESPN should, and probably will, be sued next

Her career was doing great. She started as a girl with an above average face, a nice smile, and beautiful hair. She was fairly well spoken and had worked her way up to the top sideline reporter for them.

She was violated and deserves compensation. If the hotel was complicit in victimizing her, they will pay.

75 million is the shiny hook, dangled in front of the jury as shock value. It will be negotiated until a check is cut.

She has a net worth of 3 million and makes 800k a year but, at 38, is approaching her shelf life for being the sideline girl.

Major developments today in this case. One of the executives who represents the Hotel, and who has testified at the trial, was caught watching the video with friends while eating at a Nashville restaurant. They were allegedly laughing at her, and he allegedly said that he was going to show everyone the tape since it is costing him millions.

Still unclear if the jury will hear this info though.

I just checked this thread for the first time to see if this guy's unbelievable act of stupidity was discussed. I can't believe this Dumbass represents the owners and I hope the jury hears about it.

On another note, this thread has many pretty disgusting comments from quite a few pervy losers.

He has now admitting that it happened, to some extent. He claims that his friends started watching it at his table and he asked them to stop, but unfortunately they didn't stop quick enough.

Pretty shitty excuse. Especially because several of the wait staff have said that he was part of it.
