Sounds like the manager made the right choice by not getting in the middle of a scuffle where one dude had a gun.

Time for you to boycott literally every chain. You do not engage in fights as an employee. Call cops and wait or flee. Literally every restaurant does this for legal purposes.

The guy could have killed the "boy"

He made a decision to risk injury to not kill him.

Manager would be fired if they physically intervened.

You cannot do that.

That thief was well trained by the SJW Filth.

Can't steal the guy's phone straight up? Well, step 2 is to cry racism and fight.

That's my question.

Ok random person. Allow me to unlock my phone which has all my photos, bank info, etc and allow you to hold it and potentially run away?

I'm all for helping my fellow man, but I wouldn't just hand my phone over to anyone. Hell, I get uneasy when my wife wants to use my phone -- and there's nothing incriminating on it (or not much, anyway).

It's just that cellphones are now a conduit to our private lives -- so it's not about race here, in my opinion. It's about protecting a private possession.

i imagine Cane's employees are trained to call the cops and stand back

Which wasn't done according to Mr. Holder. He also said someone was filming it instead of assisting. Society has gone to shite.

I get you're trolling, but getting involved in a fist fight in which one of the parties has a gun is probably the dumbest thing a human could do in that situation.

Holder pulled his gun and pointed it at Watts to detain him until police arrived around 7 p.m., according to arrest records.

This is a better point on top of pushing Cane’s to not allow the 2 thugs that attacked customer back into locations (after they hopefully spend an appropriate time in jail).

Also nice usage of name along with racism to draw people in.

Cane's needs to release the footage. I refuse to spend a buck there until they do.

I think that's how it's done.

Correct, not only for legal reasons but common sense. The manager potentially becomes the target for both sides. I've been there. You'll see me kick back in a chair while calling the cops.
