i imagine Cane's employees are trained to call the cops and stand back
Which wasn't done according to Mr. Holder. He also said someone was filming it instead of assisting. Society has gone to shite.
yep... as noted earlier in the thread... Holder called into the Walton (Webster?) & Johnson Show around 8:30 this morning and this was his story
I understand a manager not wanting to get involved in a scuffle where a gun has already been pulled (esp. since the vast majority of businesses order employees to NOT intervene)
the manager not only didn't intervene... but just stood and watched and didn't even call the cops while someone else made sure to video it (I'm sure Cane's has security cameras... cell phone video is unnecessary except only for social media likes)
Holder claimed this morning that his wife is suffering from concussion symptoms from being punched by the assailant

That's my question. Ok random person. Allow me to unlock my phone which has all my photos, bank info, etc and allow you to hold it and potentially run away? I'm all for helping my fellow man, but I wouldn't just hand my phone over to anyone. Hell, I get uneasy when my wife wants to use my phone -- and there's nothing incriminating on it (or not much, anyway). It's just that cellphones are now a conduit to our private lives -- so it's not about race here, in my opinion. It's about protecting a private possession.
I rarely hand my unlocked phone to my kid without holding it myself much less some stranger. It’s not just data on an unlocked phone including info on notifications on top of apps or possible theft of phone, but what they might be doing with call that is now linked to your phone number. Two young adults without a means to make a phone call at a business with a phone is automatically a red flag to me with no other info needed.
Most people would know this and be thankful they could still make a phone call unless they were up to no go (with call they didn’t want overheard or with their plans for phone) or already have a strong hate for the race of owner of the phone and were looking for any reason to show anger towards him.

Can't blame the guy. That POS would have just grabbed his phone and ran out the store with it, sure as hell. His response confirmed his status as said POS.

Fantastic AG.
Holder was the most political and race baiting AG in history. Not to mention his gun running with at least one being used to kill an American agent and then being held in contempt of Congress over it that even had some Democrats crossing aisle to support and many others basically abstaining in a political saving their face way since Obama was pushing for them not to support.

The vote was 255-67, with 17 Democrats voting in support of a criminal contempt resolution

Another civil contempt resolution, giving the green light for the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee to sue the Justice Department to get the Fast and Furious documents, passed by a 258-95 margin. Twenty-one Democrats voted for that measure.

Time for you to boycott literally every chain. You do not engage in fights as an employee. Call cops and wait or flee. Literally every restaurant does this for legal purposes.
I understand not getting involved if two dipshits are scrapping over nonsense but this was an attempted robbery and assault of an innocent customer. Now once he pulled the gun I would probably back off too.

yes, they were gonna steal that phone

No. I'm sure the restaurant has a phone you can use. Now frick off.

That has nothing to do with it. He didnt need to give an explanation. It is his phone. Dude can pound sand. I would have told his to buzz off.

What do you think the employee handbook calls for in this situation? Jump in and assist patrons engaging in fist fights?
Ok, I'll play the "what if" game with you. Suppose someone was attacking a small child in the restaurant?
There are times when common sense dictates a judgement call.
Two thugs fighting? Call the cops and let them sort it out.
A customer and his wife being attacked by thugs? The manager should have helped break things up.

I agree and that was the point of my post but it was hard to tell from the article at what point the manager became aware of the situation and how quickly the gun became a factor. As a bystander if I would ve witnessed the whole thing going down I would've helped until I saw a gun get pulled then I/m backing the off no matter if its a good guy with a gun or not.

They're trained specifically not to intervene in situations like this. Anything involving an employee could result in a lawsuit against the company and the firing of said manager. They however can't get fired or sued over staying out of a physical altercation.
Props to this Baw for his street smarts but he has no reason to be upset with management.

Of course it isn’t about race. This is all the product of SJW filth culture and the chickens are coming home to roost. Stay locked and loaded because that is their final roadblock in taking over.
