O-T lawyers, is this attempted embezzlement?
It's conspiracy to defraud the public and a violation of public records laws.
WAFB was complicit in it as well.

Everyone needs to go back to page 2 and save that article from WAFB where they state:
It’s about to vanish from the internet.
quote:
WAFB has confirmed that everyone in the administration involved in the negotiations with the DOJ and the EPA, has had to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
It’s about to vanish from the internet.

Lester Duhe’ was the WAFB reporter claiming the NDA was confirmed.
He might be a decent guy, but he put his name on the report and deserves to be roasted for reporting lies, misinformation, and providing cover for government corruption.

The biggest scandal here is that a prominent local news agency lied about confirming statements that were under scrutiny.
This looks even worse, up against the backdrop of Kiran Chawla not being considered a real journalist.

Technically WAFB did not report that the governmental officials signed an NDA with the EPA and DOJ. It’s still bullshite.

Look at the screen shot above and get back to me. Will it be mental gymnastics, or will you admit that there was clearly intentional deception involved?

Read the story on page 2. They stated it verbatim.

For updates, check “Unfiltered with Karen’s” news page on Facebook. She’s digging in on this one.

From my councilmen's facebook page:
quote:
"Taxation without representation!" This is the cry from many residents across the parish regarding Mayor Broome's proposed Stormwater Utility Fee.....
I see that Lori Adams has now released a similar statement, although not quite as damning. May I ask who your councilman is?

WAFB is the mouth piece for Broome. They fired Chawla because Broome wanted it. They don’t criticize SWB
This is a huge story and this is what’s on WAFB.com currently:
You have to scroll all the way to the bottom of their page to find the article about it

Broome should be prosecuted. What a fricking joke.

The blurb in the article:

I told y'all. They used careful wording.
They never said who the NDA was signed with. The article doesn't say the EPA required an NDA. It just implies it, for obvious reasons.

Where did it say the EPA required an NDA?

Now THAT is a spicy meatball

Headlines aren't reporting.
The headline for OP is also incorrect and misleading. Graves made the claims; not the EPA

I believe It indicated that EBR signed an NDA from the Federal Govt.
