I know what it's about. But I want to hear it from people who support the mandates. Why support it? Why have it? We aren't in some dire situation anymore. Hell, we never were imho. People got scared because of Italy as if they weren't a very unique situation. We didn't need lockdowns from day 1. We don't need them, or masks, or vaccine mandates now.

The FDA has a gazillion different treatments and medications that they have approved of. That doesn't mean I want, or need, to take every single one.
The FDA approval was always the wrong hill, and never a concern of mine personally as I've been prescribed things from time to time that are for off-label uses.
I will not take the vaccination until my overall health is such that it would be beneficial to me to do so. My doctor agrees with this sentiment. It's the same reason I do not get flu shots, and have no interest in the shingles vaccine. It is better for my body to let my immune system deal with these things while I am healthy enough to fight it off.
I'm sure I have probably had the flu at some point, or several points, in my life, but have never bothered to get tested for it. Never wanted the "miracle drug" Tamiflu, that "might" make you feel better up to one whole day sooner, when basic chicken soup, drinking plenty of liquids, and over the counter drugs work just as well.

If that's the case, then I am an outlier as I have understood the actual statistics from the beginning, how severe the over-reaction has been, and realized how foolish all of the control measures were.
