Very few calling it tyranny and most painting it as “urging unvaccinated people to get vaccinated”, “unifying against the delta variant”, and “announcing new steps to encourage K-12 schools to mandate masks for all, require vaccines for employees, and step up COVID testing”

I hear you. I hate wasting time and political capital on outlawing CRT, abortions, and transgenders.

Don’t get me wrong, I am 100% against abortion happing, CRT being taught , and men playing against women. They’re important culturally, but missing bigger issues.

I hate my local US rep. I hate Cornyn. I can tolerate Cruz, because he’s correct most of the time, but it’s usually just grandstanding. Abbot isn’t my favorite. I like my state rep but I go to church with him, so that’s cheating.

But all of the Ds last time ran on raise taxes, health care is a human right, ban guns, abortion is healthcare, reparations, open border, and Trump is bad. My stance on those is more nuanced than that every position the other side takes is wrong, but I’m left between a side that catches my beliefs 70% of the time vs somebody that catches my beliefs <10%.

I’d f’ing love to have the opportunity to vote for Tulsi instead of John Cornyn or Max Rose instead of John Carter. But that’s not what we get.
