Anyone else have this happen this month?
We just called them and they said "whoops, computer glitch. Sorry. No refund though"

They have to pay my boy Mike's Christmas Bonus son, he already makes 120k a year sitting on his arse up there with a high school education.

Um, how is that legal? Are you at least getting a credit?

This happened to me once, they just applied it as a credit for future bills. I could see this hurting someone who is paycheck to paycheck though.

That's why I don't auto pay. I pay every month. This month though I paid and it credited to my account for 10 days but never was taken out of my checking account. Finally today it said that I had payment declined and a fee but it was the same amount. I just paid again and it went through. If they add the $20 fee to my account, someone is getting an earful.

How close is Louisiana to add some competition to the electricity sector? Seems like Entergy and people must do what they say and have no choice.

They bill me more than a month in advance, and have done that for years, so most of the time they show 2 month’s balances as due, when I actually only owe the first month.

Pretty sure most companies pay people this to sit on their arse. That’s not that much money.

This happeend to us a couple of years ago, they took the money out of our account twice, once each on consecutive days.

I called and raised hell and they said they were very sorry, they could keep it as an account credit or they could mail me a refund check in 6-8 weeks. I said just put it back in the account the same way they took it out, and they said no we can't do that.

Of course I'd get the money "faster" as a credit.

I then called the PSC (their regulator) and was told they would get back to me within 45 days. Again... quicker to get a credit.

F Entergy, F the PSC, F it all.

They withdrew one months payment from us twice. We called them and they wouldn't do anything about it. Wasn't a big deal, but it was really shitty.

ETA: just left it as a credit, wouldn't refund.

My bill was $58 usage. But total was $130 after fees.

Makes no sense.
