Entergy blows

I need to reset my password and it takes 3 or 4 tries on multiple days to finally get the recovery password to come through (and yes I checked the spam folder). Then when it does come through, the link to reset the password is just an unclickable graphic. Every other link on the email works except that one. Somebody forgot to code it to actually go somewhere. It’s just a big red box

They have a captive audience, no need to worry about customer satisfaction. What are you going to do make your own power plant?

I owe around 20.00 a month that is auto drafted from my bank account
Starting a week before the due date I get a daily email countdown stating that 22.04 is almost due
It just started 2 months ago

Your electric bill is $22 a month?

Find a different power company to use...

They "changed" their website and used some jack legged web designer and project manager.. The whole thing is screwed up.. They probably didn't even have a test data base.

DEMCO> entergy
I just moved from a house with Entergy service to one with Demco, both in similar neighborhoods with underground utilities. FWIW I've had more outages in the past four months with Demco than I had in the last several years with Entergy.

It's not just them. LUS and LUS fiber have a jacked up online payment system as well.
*click to login*
*new window opens*
*click to pay your bill*
*new window opens*
and on and on.
eta: With that said, the actual service is great and I can't remember the last time I didn't have power or internet.

Gas only
Electric is through Demco

We've had Demco at our past two houses. We've rarely had an outage at the current one.
At the last one they happened more frequently but generally didn't last long. I find them to be cheaper than Entergy too.

Are you aware that DEMCO doesn’t generate its own power? It buys it from Entergy. Without Entergy, DEMCO wouldn’t a have a “product” to sell.

I thought they went with Cleco? They were with NRG for a while but changed. Either way, you are right. They don’t produce their own power like Entergy does.

Maybe so. It’s been a while since I’ve worked with either.

The new system is infinitely better but still every few months it drops my account from the login. I then have to re register.
The prior system was nonsense. I would have to go call customer service to reset the password every month. Then they’d request a code to pay over the phone which only was accessible through the account.
I quit paying the bill and said F you until the new system came online. I think I had three payments backed up with a disconnect date.
