I sincerely hope entergy New Orleans is returned to nopsi.

Enough of this unintelligent bullcrap.

NOPSI stands for New Orleans Public Service, INC.

INC. As in INCOORPORATED. As in a private company.

NOPSI and Entergy are the same goddamn company. A couple of decades ago Middle South Utilities decided to rename itself into Entergy and all it's subsidiaries into Entergy Subs. So LP&L became Entergy Louisiana. NOPSI became Entergy New Orleans, etc.

Yes but it's a bit different when you are government sponsored monopoly.

I guess this is what happens when you attempt to extort a company on a regular basis

If the city had even the slightest bit of competence, I'd say tell Entergy to GFY and have the city build a power plant for the pumps.

I hope they do this. It will cost a billion dollars for the equivalent of a Generac

More likely Jackson or Little Rock. Although they do have a trading office in The Woodlands.

I never realized the drainage canals in New Orleans East were so nice.

It doesn't include the city of New Orleans numbers only. Separate businesses.

I never knew this. Interesting. What was the name of that other power related company in BR? They had a whole office near Airline and Jefferson somewhere.

Moreno is a fricking liberal lunatic, you don’t want anything to do with that head case.

Everyday New Orleans citizens don't realize how little leverage the city has on Entergy. Now the rest of LA and Texas, that is a different story. But New Orleans may as well be Venezuela to Entergy.

It’s a shame that the citizens do not pay for it since they will be the ones benefiting. Maybe they should have sold off those statues to pay for this. Maybe the mayor should not have killed the economy. So many what ifs….

If I were the CEO of Entergy I would not have anything to do with Orleans Parish. NoLA can run an extension cord from Haiti.

She's a dumb bitch who heavily supported Jason Williams' for DA while he is awaiting his trial with the FEDS on tax fraud. The fact that she can actually string together sentences unlike most New Orleans politicians makes her support of Williams even more disappointing.

F off...just because you may have some issue with the city, doesn't mean you should wish it would flood. You're a douche
