I took a 10K pay deduction to take the job i have had for past 11 years.
I get 17 weeks off paid, it was well worth the 10K downgrade in pay.

Think about how much of America is small, lower income towns across rural areas. And how many people who live in cities are living in shithole apartments or subsidized housing or cheap houses.
