Feel for you.

I’d get her best friend involved in the decision. Then you have cover.

BlueNile and was very happy with them.

I took my blue nile ring to a buddy jewelry the second i got it. I told him to give me "the absolute most he would pay for it price" and it was double what i paid.

When i told him the price i paid he said it was a better than good deal.

This was 10 years ago, i think blue nile has jacked up prices a bit since then as word got around.

Email this guy: LINK

Tell him exactly what you want and send a link to the diamond you posted.

Seriously, best thing I ever did when buying a diamond online

1,5 carrots and only $6k should tell you enough. There’s a catch here, and it’s likeky quality.

Idk about this diamond in particular, but that statement is simply not true when buying a diamond online. You pay far far less than at a jewelry store.

Is she set on round? You can get a cushion, radiant or princess at the same size with better grades for the same price.

Those diamonds also are smaller in size appearance for equal carat weight

Is it because they are deeper? I had no requirements from the wife when I bought and I was instantly drawn to princess cut. I guess I just think the square look is more classic diamond.

Take it from someone who just bought one..... look at mosanite rings! Even jewelers can’t tell the difference without a diamond tester. They are 1/4 the price and are more shiny/sparkly then a diamond. On top of that for the price of a very small diamond you can get her a rock of a stone with incredible quality.

"H - VVS2" at a minimum. That being said, even the OT would have a hard time distinguishing the difference between G-H or H-I VVS1-VVS2 and so on. Now if you jump a couple of grades lower in color and/or clarity the Poli Board could tell the difference.

I would stick with what I recommended as a minimum unless you just plan to puck her for a couple of years and then cut bait (give her a CZ and tell her its H-VVS1 until you dump her sorry arse).

The color is going to show some tint of yellow. Is it going in a yellow gold or white gold setting? Si2 is the lowest clarity grade to go with where it is still "eye" clean. If thats your price point drop down on size and go with a better color. Also if she isn't set on a round diamond you can get a better quality princess, emerald, or cushion cut.

Go moissanite bro. You won't regret it and neither will your wallet. My fiancée absolutely adores hers.

It’s already been said, but find a ring Jew. It’s not very hard and you will get a wayyy better ring for much cheaper

Look at A Fishman and Son's website. They're sellers out of New York and that's who I got mine through. I did D, VS1 with a smaller stone, but to each their own.
