In a (hopefully) hypothetical scenario where you were diagnosed with a terminal illness and you knew you had less than 6 months....
....what do you do?
How does one "get their affairs" in order?

Make sure my will is iron clad and then spend as much time with my wife and kids as possible.

Will, power of attorney, living will.
You know, the estate planning trifecta.
More practically, write down all account passwords.
Just a warning, the money board link below has an invalid transfer as far as Louisiana is concerned. TOD accounts aren’t a thing in Louisiana.

I'd go sky diving, maybe some rocky mountain climbing, and look for a bull named Full Manchu to ride, try to love deeper, maybe speak sweeter, then give forgiveness I've been denying.....
That's it, that's what I'd do..

Make sure the insurance, will, and all documents are clear and that my wife knows exactly how to get them. That's something we should all check periodically actually.
I'd visit some places that I've never seen...and of course bring my wife and daughter with me. Take lots of pictures with them so they can remember me. That's assuming I had some time without too much pain.
Also I'd schedule flower deliveries for my wife every Valentine's day for 10 years into the future at least, reminding her that I don't regret any moment with her.

All the obvious stuff previously mentioned. There is one guy in my org that I'd have a conversation with, and it wouldn't be pretty.

Hope this is just a theoretical instead of you're leaving us in 6 months.
But first thing first - get your affairs in order b/c you don't want your loved ones to have to comb through a bunch of old Wills or POA's. They are relatively cheap depending on your assets and what you are adding in. Also make sure it's notarized and witnessed.
God speed good sir!

We ( wife and I) went last week went and planned our funeral. I’m in Remission from Cancer last year. We are both 56, I feel like I’m closer to the end then the beginning. P.S. none of us are getting out of this alive

My brother was given 6 months to a year. He only made it 6 weeks, luckily he had everything taken care of before hand so his kids had very little to do when the time came.
