That's correct. Any injury on the clock means a piss test. Even having someone hit your company vehicle can make it required.

well, I think the threshold for personality is awesome. I hear they are coming up with the MMPI-3 which will test for awesomeness in addition to Psychopathy and Sociopathy. I'm really looking forward to it.

I'll be if Ted Bundy had scored awesome in addition to sociopath, he would have been acquitted.

45 days straight? It will take a while to test clear.
Stay off as long as possible then buy one of those drinks. It's worked for me.

It's not the employees setting the rules, it's insurance. If they have worker's comp, then their insurance will likely require them to drug test.
I know plenty of 420 friendly business owners who drug test. Mostly it's to catch people they suspect of being pill heads, but the initial urinalysis is for insurance and to see if you are a junkie.

Personally I think the test is biased. Say I was a functional coke head. I could take 2-3 days off and pass a piss test, and be back to spending half my money getting high. Same with functioning pill heads and heroin addicts. Problem with those is, the physical withdrawals are obvious and they usually aren't really "functioning".

But a pot head could quit today and fail a test taken on the first week of May.

When job seeking, it's best to sober up and keep a clear head anyway.

Screw the job opportunities. Above is the SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT REASON to quit doing what you're doing. You've got a family....it's time to grow up. Your daughter is learning from YOU. Your focus should be on setting a better example for her. Period.

If I want the job I will quit smoking 30 days prior to interview or look like a pos.

Best advice is to cut it out ASAP. It's not worth losing out on a decent job for.

For the record, if you go to GNC they are apparently, by store policy, not allowed to sell you "something to help pass a drug test." So.. just tell them you're trying to do a cleanse or something.

Stay in school. You are not ready to enter the workforce. You're not even close to being ready. This thread shows that you may never be ready. You , sir , are a dumb frick.

Just to straighten something out technically:

You are going in for a urine drug screen, not a urinalysis. Two completely different things.

Why would an employer even bother wasting time and money paying for drug tests if they're going to hire someone who admits to not being able to pass one?
