So right now I'm a full time college student after 10 years in the military. I've been offered pretty good positions, but decided to bank of my education benefits.

So anyways I haven't put my resume out, but have ran into connections where I've been told I would be an asset. I'm thinking about interviewing for a few to see if I can land a job I'd be happy with. I have been smoking for about 45 days. Should I be up front and honest and is this a big deal to employees? If I did get hired I would stop smoking.

If they're testing, hell no you don't tell them. And you need to stop smoking now if you're looking to get hired.

Are you asking if it's a good idea to tell a prospective employer that you're afraid you'll fail a drug test because you'd rather get loaded than be clean for 2 weeks to pass a piss test?

No, do not tell your employer that you've been smoking pot. They will not hire you. wtf

Yes weed. Didn't know if I told the employer upfront and say if I was given the opportunity I would gladly pass in 45 days after start of employment

If they test, and you admit you use drugs beforehand, you will be black balled.

If offered stop smoking pot immediately. You likely aren't too bright so i don't see why you should quit as you will probably not get offer anyway.

Go to the place called Concentra.
LINK
They will give you a pre screen non insurance required for about $60. Then you will know ahead of time if you can pass.

Sure go in and tell them you smoke. I'm sure they won't mind at all if you are honest. What do you think the urinalysis is for?

In Louisiana? Forget about it. The force of the devil's lettuce is strong there.

Up north? I have never been drug tested since I left LA.

I'm really not in the job market, but some of the positions are pretty good.

I'm in Illinois. I did tell one of the contacts about it and she said it's possible they'd wave it because of my personality & experience.
