You can't be serious here?

You mean everybody doesn't do that? Hey, I really don't want to quit smoking weed unless I know I'm gonna get this job... so if you hire me I promise I'll quit and take a piss test in a few weeks k?

Weren't you the one that came on here a few months ago asking how being tr old guy on campus you could find some weed without being creepy?

Dude quit smoking. It's illegal still and can frick up a future that it looks like you're working on. Sad it's illegal but is.

I haven't smoked in years and years and don't even associate with people that smoke just due to the risk involved. Also job ramifications.

I never understood this shite. High paying jobs available and you can't fricking stop smoking some dumb arse shite.

Weed isn't gonna get you a new house or car or just able to live. A nice paying job will.

Edit: Unless you are selling weed, then you can probably get that but see you in jail in 5-10.

You sound dumb as frick OP.

What industry? Some are more strict than others.

If it's a hands on job like construction or with machinery they are more likely to test you. In general I have never heard of white collar employees getting tested in NYC.

I have heard of construction workers getting tested, but only because their company had problems with people showing up high/drunk.

It shows honesty & my experience is what they want. Sorry I'm being approached but yet comfortable financially that I want to find a job that makes me happy.

The testing protocol is determined by the position. If you are applying for any type of safety sensitive position, you will assuredly be tested, most likely to the DOT standard.
Most management positions are not tested randomly but you could be tested as part of a pre-hire physical. If the position involves any type of security clearance, you will definitely be tested.
Contrary to the popular OT narrative, smoking pot is frowned upon by employers other than McDonalds and Lowes/Home Depot.

Hell, in finance if some form of speed/amphetamine doesn't show up on the piss test you don't get the job.

Why would employers even do urinalysis if they just ignored it as long as you were honest?

You really can't stop smoking weed for 2 weeks?

Well it seems you've made up your mind to do the exact opposite of what everyone is advising.

You're way to dumb for a job, and taco bell doesn't piss test, so you're good.
