My employees have to be clean shaven because we do industrial work and all plants require it.

One of my buddies in Atlanta works for a company that doesn't allow scruff. He said that you can have a beard but it has to look neat. So if you are going to grow one, it has to be over a weekend and look neat monday morning.

Worked at a McDonald's one time that was no facial hair at all. No more than 2 days growth on the face. That sucked but they didn't care about earrings. Transferred to another Mcdonalds in Jackson and they didn't care about facial hair but no earrings were allowed 
. Steel foundry I worked at had no policy on facial hair or earrings because we had to wear full front and side face shields when dealing with the molten steel.
Current employer is no earrings and well kept facial hair, so no wild man look but a groomed beard is allowed. Put my earrings in my desk on Monday morning when i get to work and put them in Friday evening as I'm walking out the door.

I'm growing my first real beard in my life , just turned 40. Keeping up a professional looking beard is a little becoming my little hobby.

I work in the O&G industry and several of my accounts require to be clean shaven. I tried planing out my schedule and keeping a beard for a few weeks but the sudden calls and stops didn't really make it worthwhile.
