What is your take on emotional support animals? I’m at dinner with the wife and this guy at the table next to me has a dog with him (a pit bull nonetheless). Obviously, I understand the need of a guide dog for the blind (this guy wasn’t blind). But what kind of “emotional support” do you need at a restaurant? Why should you be allowed to have your flea infested mutt sitting two feet away from my food?

People that have emotional support animals shouldn’t be allowed to have animals.

You're at Burger King. Put your phone down, eat your fries and shut up.

When we went to Vegas 2 years ago, I was appalled at all the people sitting at slot machines with dogs. I’m assuming most were emotional support animals

My support dugong Bethany has boosted my morale to all-time highs and got me through the painstaking processes of acquiring some of my most valuable assets.

I have an emotional support dog that I take to the bar

Helps two ways: helps introduce the ladies, and the pup can smell out STDs

No, it isn’t the publicly intoxicated Catholic school principal.

Those are emotional support fleas for the pit. Those dogs suffer a lot of stink eyes.

Do you include Veterans who have them specially trained for PTSD in this?

Americans have lost their minds. Ther mommy and daddy didn't hug them enough while growing up so many seek the unconditional love of a pet to assuage their shortcomings and guilt.

Further, Americans are the most selfish people on the planet and don't give one whit about whether someone else doesn't like dogs all up in their face (look how people drive and act in public, in general).

Some lady had one in the gym yesterday. It was a lab puppy playing with it’s leash and she was laughing the entire time. I love dogs but I very badly wanted to drop a 45 lb plate on its head to see if she’d laugh at that.

I don’t mock people with emotional problems or animal lovers. I will mock pretty much anybody else though.
