Music is music. Nobody seems to care when other races cover songs of all races. Elvis brought an even wider audience towards the type of music he covered. He opened a lot of doors for black artists in many different ways. Even some specifically wrote songs for him to sing such as Otis Blackwell.

Why is this the worst offense in the minds of these idiots. If someone is a racist, they have zero power. The law isn’t on their side.

Elvis was definitely not racist. There are several good youtube videos with black entertainers, singers, friends that knew him reminiscing about their interactions with him. They all liked him.
There are several other videos with a variety of friends, band members. etc. and it seems that nearly everyone that knew him liked him. He was very humble.
I like the way he would introduce himself to someone
" Hi, Elvis Presley" as if the other person didn't know who he was, lol.

I have found that folks that proclaim something to be ‘“racist” are almost invariably extremely racist themselves…

Or maybe Elvis had more access to more people with more money.
Besides, Elvis was overrated.

One of the Sweet Inspirations, Elvis' black female backup singers, who lives in Shreveport, was interviewed this morning on local news about today being Elvis' 90th birthday. She said Elvis treated them will love, kindness, and respect, and actually got mad when she called him "Boss." He told her "I'm your brother, not your boss." Yeah, sounds like a real racist.

Elvis famously bought a house for the woman he employed for many years to cook meals for him at Graceland. She happened to be black.
