I saw Billy Joel in Austin in October at COTA (F1 race weekend) and it was his first show since his Covid shutdown too.

Billy Joel had a concert at Fenway in August. We were up in the northeast at the time and would have gone but the weather was bad.

Set list from last night

Elton is getting old. Only 21 songs. 10 years ago he would crank out 28 songs.

Funeral For a Friend is like an 11 minute song.
Maybe that makes up for it a little bit.

The city is not nearly as bad as the outsiders who post on the O-T make it out to be.

Like every major inner city, it has some major issues.

But there are a lot of people inside city limits who live a very nice and comfortable life. But like every other major city with issues... you can really only do this if you have money.

New Orleans needs to save itself, but they won't. They'll continue to prioritize stupid shite like taking down statues and ignore important shite like crime.

I was there for that show; also saw him in St Louis when I was in middle school, and again in Shreveport in the mid 80’s.
