Not sure why people are so impressed now with booster landings. He’s been doing that for about two years now.

You aren’t kidding. That was incredible foresight. He’d be nowhere if his name was Doug Musk.

Against the advice of two different consulting groups for the shareholders. I'll give it to him, he has the shareholders in the palm of his hand.

And he wasn't even the first to do it.

Nor is he a founder of Tesla.

But he is great at PR, so none of the facts really matter.

Are you referring to blue origin? He was landing the grasshopper before them but I think there may be someone else who was doing it before both of them, forgot the name though.

This is the important part:

quote:

The compensation award includes no salary or cash bonus for the Silicon Valley billionaire, but sets rewards based on Tesla’s market value rising to as much as $650 billion over the next 10 years.

I think Chanos is still shorting it and saying it's a zero, so maybe he likes it.

Blue Orgin was before Space X.

Space X claims the first orbital rocket.

I’m pretty sure spacex was landing the grasshopper years before BO. Regardless, they are the only one who can land an orbital class booster. BO is still sub orbital won’t wont likely get there for 2-3 more years.

No they aren’t. He’s said multiple times that he can’t go public with spacex because shareholders won’t likely let him achieve his mars goal, it will just be about profit.
