You aren’t kidding. That was incredible foresight. He’d be nowhere if his name was Doug Musk.

He would have to use his full name.

Douglas C. Musk

But that sounds more like an injury lawyer. Elon was a good choice.

No they aren’t. He’s said multiple times that he can’t go public with spacex because shareholders won’t likely let him achieve his mars goal, it will just be about profit.

Tesla shareholders obviously don't care about profit. Why would they suddenly care about Space X profit, which there actually is.

Heavy payload rockets are a huge money maker.

Musk will still convince the board to do whatever he wants. He just talked them into 2.6B for a company that can't mass produce cars or male money.

Dude is pretty fricking amazing. He was banging Amber Heard for a while. He and Peter Theil are both pretty ungeeky for having started as tech nerds.

They care about their stock price. Which keeps climbing.

It's an incentive based contract, and if he doesn't hit goals he doesn't get paid.

What's the issue?

He may not be a "founder", but he basically bankrolled the whole operation from the beginning and was chairman even before Tesla had their first production contract.

They had a working car before he ever became involved.

He was involved early 2004, and the 1st Roadster prototype didn't even come out until 2006.

First prototype was done in 2004, Musk had give a small amount around that time.

Musk was to be the driving force behind getting to mass production.

He led the group responsible for getting the funding. Not sure why you're acting like had very little involvement.

All of that isn't really relevant because it doesn't disprove the original post you replied to to be honest.
