She said not too long ago all billionaires abused people to get there.

Wonder if she thinks that of Jay-Z, Dr Dre. She def doesn’t think that of George Soros and Roy Singam.

Her whole anti-oligarchy tour was funded by oligarchs. She’s fine with billionaires so long as they’re communists.

Oh and Tesla's profits come mostly from selling fake carbon credits.

I'm not sure of the point here, but yet again, which party created the framework for these credits to exist? If you're saying you don't think they should exist then we would agree.

Still waiting on FSD

Just like we will always be waiting on data centers in space

Also, Cybertruck sales numbers significantly pumped by large purchases of other companies owned by Elon

If you look at the threads on tigerdroppings about Musk from 5 or 7 years ago (before he got into conservative politics), he was pretty much known by the board to be a con man.

The con in conservative is short for con man since it’s obvious they never conserve anything

Now divide his holdings by the number of seconds in his lifetime. I am too lazy to do it but I am sure it comes out to some absurd amount he has made every second. I saw that done for Sam Walton once on a weekly basis.

Let's call his net worth $1 trillion.

He's made $575 for every second he's been alive.

1,000,000,000,000 / 1,739,750,400 (seconds alive) = 575

But we have just outsourced the expense of NASA at no benefit to the tax payer.

What was the benefit to the taxpayer before SpaceX? We're getting more innovation and return on that spend now than we ever were with NASA. Thus the reason we're now using SpaceX.

He can't purchase a lot of things that are priceless or intangible.

But yeah, he can buy most things

Similar to the joke about why you never saw Biden flags on boats. Because there's no federal free or reduced price boat program.

National security. Being able to exclude hostile countries and companies from space. Charging companies that wanted to launch satellites.

I just don't know what innovation we are getting in return using SpaceX. SpaceX is putting satellites in space and ferrying people to the ISS. That isn't new. Sure, Artemis went around the Moon. But that was done 60 years ago. And we stopped doing it because there was no reason to keep doing it.

Not trying to be hostile, but my opinion of Musk is that he mostly is a salesman for the re-invented wheel.

This. He's making some trips on a penis ship into outer space that we already accomplished in the 1960s. And people are acting like it's a big achievement.

The Space Race was really about national pride in the first place, and it really didn't do much to actually improve the lives of Americans. And now that we've already been in space for 60 years, I'm not sure why people are still excited about it.
