Probably when one is sufficiently qualified.

So what do you need DEI for? Are you paying any attention, or are you a beneficiary of all the bullshite (rhetorical)

They are in rage mode and have filled in what they believe Cuban has said.

If the short asian woman can ball then why not?
Isn't that what Elon, not Cuban, is saying?

Cuban didn't say hire unqualified people

Cuban's basketball team is not very diverse, why is that? Because Cuban didn't hire for diversity, he hired the best group of 15 people he felt who can do the job. Why should any other department do things differently?

But that's not how DEI works. The goal of DEI is to pick the most qualified out of a minority group. Not the best candidate overall.

His words are right there. DEI cannot coexist with hiring the best.

So what's he promoting DEI for then when he doesn't use it himself? spin away

Do you think Cuban directed his scouts to only look at Black guys over 7'?

He didn't narrow his scope of who to look at nor who to scout. Wouldn't limit who to offer if qualified either.

There will always be someone more qualified for every job

I'm sure there is a black woman more qualified for your job than you

Not exactly a great burn, he didn't even say play for the Mavs. I'm sure the Mavs have a short white/Asian woman working for them.

Only black guys over 7 feet are the most qualified to be in the NBA? Your shite posting is getting pretty funny at least.

That is the fricking point.

He didn’t add any qualifiers beyond “best player he could get”.

DIE isn’t part of that process at all.

Yet, he argues for DIE without using it himself.

I agree with Elon.

FYI, Cuban sold a majority of his stake in the Mavs for 3.8 billion. He only has 27% but will control basketball ops, so Elon's point stands.

Wrong. There will only be one most qualified out of those that apply.

Could be. She didn't apply for it though.

Which is the opposite of what DEI promotes.

Thanks for finally understanding Elon's point.

Dude, Cuban isn’t going to frick you. He’s got better things to do so you can stopping knighting for him. Cuban was trying to virtue signal to leftist and here you are sucking him off for it. Seems like it worked for him

In your hiring history do you only hire the most qualified individual?

Not necessarily on paper, but I do hire the person who I think will be best person to do that job 100% of the time, no exceptions.
