Electric supply chain .. is there enough product to replace all that will need replacing??

My brother just left his job as a lineman to do something administrative ... he'll be back out there I'm guessing on a pole. They've been treated like dirt in some places and kings in others.

Last year we drove around our little town offering snacks, drinks, food to the linemen we saw .. no one would take it. Said they were well stocked and I want to say "covid" regulations. I did however feel better about trying.

I asked a similar question a few days ago. I keep wondering how this will affect materials like windows, lumber, and groceries. If there is a 4 month lead time on windows, i scared for folks looking to repair damage from the storm..

There was one I know for sure .. think it was in Mississippi? Sad situation.

Heaven forbid safety measures keep you from having power sooner.

Wife said their company has already been contacted about work but they are so swamped they don’t have people to work rebuild
