If someone is mentally ill, yeah they have the right to own a gun, but if they can’t pass the test, then no, they can’t possess or buy a gun
So let's start taking away rights based off of a fricking test?
Get fricked you a-hole.

Little bastard has played hours and hours on random video games doing the same fricking shooting & killing.
Do you want to regulate something?
Get some stiffer laws on the the books aimed at the video game industry that has desensitized shooting & killing people.
And listening to that Marilyn Manson.
Kids these days have no morals.

No one wants to talk about another elephant in the room, the decline of religious values in the United States in general. Not just mass shootings, but suicides as well. When you are taught that you are nothing but a clump of cells from dust and will return to dust when you die, its easy to believe you have no worth and other people's lives have no worth either.
That and the breakdown of the family unit has to play a role here, but no one wants to talk about that. Most shootings are done by gang members, who grow up without father roles in their lives because their momma decided to marry the government instead.

The problem isn’t that people in our country can own guns. The problem is that there aren’t enough restrictions in place to keep the wrong people from owning and having access to guns.

What requirements you propose?
I don’t have the answer but how do you know this kid didn’t purchase this gun when he was 18? Or bought it off the street from someone that bought it at 18?

Ah yes the 9th amendment “right of transportation via motor vehicle”
Posted on 8/3/19 at 8:23 pm to The Funnie Five
To the gun grabbers the 2nd amendment is just something they can trample over. But it isnt. Guys like tgerbait08 think you should be drafted and die for your country at 18 but cant buy a gun at 18
Slippery slope

Who gets to decide who "the wrong people" are? The government? Yeah, they seem really trustworthy.
Government picking winners and losers never ends well, especially when it comes to our rights, freedoms and liberties.

How did Virginia become so cucked? Used to be one of the most freedom loving states in the nation. Now it is Ground Zero for supporting the all powerful government.

Yes it is. A convicted felon has lost the right to vote.
quote:
Individuals convicted of a felony are ineligible to vote while in prison, on parole, or on probation. rights are automatically restored two years after the completion of all supervised release (except if convicted of treason). Ex-offenders should re-register to vote.

You’re a drunk drug addict so whatever you have to say is irrelevant
You are the poster child for someone that shouldn’t own any guns

frick off. Guys on here talking shite on guns and gun owners and I'm sick of it. I'm sick of the gun grabbing lib scum.

What the frick are your "common sense" ideas then. Please, let us know.
You want to own something that can kill someone? Fine, but you're going to have to prove annually that you're mentally stable enough to continue to own one.
Anyone convicted of a violent crime gives the court the power to take away their guns. cant own a gun for x amount of years, etc. All depends on the type of violent crime, of course.
You'll also have to prove that your shitty kids with no licensing cant get to your guns (proof of a gun case with locks, safe, etc)
This is just a rough draft stuff of the top of my head that can be done, and I am open to amending certain aspects of everything I just said if it will just fricking minimize all of this senseless killing.
