And if the situation were reversed, who all would have been through the airport by now?

I'm not going into that.
The shooter is trash it's a same that he got off so many other times

Sounds like Trudy White's work.

Another poster speculated that Wiley hadn't been formally arrested yet because EBRSO would be responsible for his medical bills. I don't know if there's and substance to his theory. I have no idea how severe his injuries are. Maybe he's in a coma and there're just waiting for him to die.
As far as who shot who goes, presumably, it all started with Wiley resisted arrest. He's on the legal hook for any injuries to LEOs, partners in crime and/or innocent bystanders.

Y'all need to put the tinfoil down. As of last year, the Sheriff turns over ALL officer involved shooting investigations to LSP. That includes this one. EBRSO isn't charging the guy, writing the incident up in their reports or doing press conferences over charges because it isn't their case. LSP will be doing all that. There isn't a need to charge the guy right now because, as noted above, he isn't going anywhere. They just did the autopsy yesterday. It will take time to put all the evidence together and write up air tight report. The investigators will take the time to rule out any and all possible defenses like "the defendant didn't have a gun", "the gun was planted", "the other deputy shot him", etc before they charge. It is how cases like this are done. If the guy wasn't handcuffed to a bed, shot multiple times and already charged with several other felonies things would be different. No need for conspiracy theories here.

Good, cause we both know the answer to it. That being said, if you didnt want to go into it, your shiny hook in your post about it not being a racial incident serves what purpose?

Thanks. I didn't really think of it as conspiracy. Instead, I was just speculating -- especially after the unusual wording of the article. Your explanation makes sense.

This is what I was getting to. The is the theory from a former officer I work with. Tragic either way, but man that would be even worse I think

Plus they will do a ballistics test prior to any charges to confirm the shooter.

i think (not sure) 1st degree is always the charge for killing a cop

As far as who shot who goes, presumably, it all started with Wiley resisted arrest. He's on the legal hook for any injuries to LEOs, partners in crime and/or innocent bystanders. It would certainly suck if this was some kind of friendly fire incident, but Wiley will still be criminally responsible for it.
Obviously, no evidence has been publically released to support this theory. It's all speculation. I'm sure the truth will eventually come out.

Possibly with the new bill that was just signed, but not before.

Killing a police officer has always been 1st degree.

Correct, I was thinking of battery and the bill to make it a hate crime.

Not sure how I feel about that - kind of cheated, actually. ... I make no apologies for wanting to see him given the sentence of death & the terror on his face when he realized the reality of it. However, relieved for the family that he got the justice he deserved without putting them through the long hellish process of a trial & all that goes with that in these cases.
