I agree completely. The true cost of these criminals goes far beyond the irreversible damage they cause their victims. Monetarily speaking, there is no reason to justify continuing to let certain segments of society reproduce.

Practically speaking, forced sterilization would never make it past the courts. The most pragmatic solution is to simply reinforce accountability, which means getting rid of entitlements for undeserving groups.

You're right, it will never happen. I don't know what the solution is at this point. Reinforcing accountability doesn't seem to be working and BR just elected a mayor who has no intention of addressing the root cause of these problems. She seems intent on shifting blame and enabling these thugs if anything.

What thugs am I defending? I don't live in a gated community. I'm actually right up the street from Gardere? The Staring motel is my next door neighbor. You don't have to agree with me that Baton Rouge is going down hill. It's just my opinion.

I'm for making this city better, I just don't see it happening. I am far from racist but I'm a classist to the extreme. There is no reason this officer should have been shot. I feel awful for his family. Their worst dream came true because of some trashy POS.

BR is in desperate need of real leadership. Someone who will come down hard on these thugs and relegate them to their own neighborhoods, forcing them to confront their own issues or eat each other alive. When you can't even go and eat at Sammy's on Highland without encountering some local culcha, that's a real problem. White flight is real and only getting worse.
