The cuts have been to higher ed. Louisiana has a shite ton of money going to public schools for each student.
You want to give teachers raises? Cut out the several useless administrators that make $100,000 plus a year and will retire with that life time pension at 55 years old.

I agree you should follow the law. I’m saying that the law of inspection stickers and inspection sticker checkpoints are stupid and cops should spend time solving and preventing actual crimes instead of enforcing registration fees

i hear that someone is thinking about entering into the legislature to abolish the stickers all together and just add the $20 to your registration. That's going to put a bunch of mechanic shops out of business if true.

There's LSP hiding by the construction zone on Hwy 61 coming off of I-110. You baws watch out
Posted on 5/23/19 at 9:34 am to Bedhog
Has nothing to do with it. The slightest crack in your windshield will cause you to fail inspection. A sensor out will cause you to fail inspection. If you're driving a hoopty that gets you from point A to point B, what's the point in paying $200 for a new windshield or $1k+ for a new sensor...just so you can pass an inspection. No inspection sticker is costing you $250...it's a no win all around.

I support any cop that is not a Louisiana cop. Biggest D bags in America. Have never seen as many speed traps as there are in Louisiana

bullshite. Those shops only get $4 for each sticker. That's propaganda put out by the State Police trying to protect their cash cow.

i get all that. Like I said, I'd be good with them getting rid of them anyway. But as the law says, you must be buckled and have a valid sticker or you shouldn't be driving.

Good.
I hope you get a ticket

Gravy doesnt realize his hypocrisy is so glaring.
Sheriff's set up an operation to make money and cover expenses and create raises...at the expense of others.
Gravy runs for a seat in a meaningless office for donations and lunches...at the expense of others.
Same beast. Different mode.

Because a sticker on my windshield and a polymer around my waist protects the public
Yet, motorcycles are legal
How retarded do you think people are?

Also, there is a shut ton of actual crime that goes on in EBR. Inspection stickers hurt no one. Go solve some real crime instead of fining is for inspection stickers and going 34 in a 30
Im not sure what he is seeing is the actual shift that is on duty today "solving real crime". These may be guys out working extra duty as part of a grant for "click-it or ticket". Thats what you usually see at intersections. They just wait for you to pull up not wearing a seatbelt and write you for it, plus any additional infractions.
