I don't recall Delgado having anything to do with M+W.The problem with M+W was that they didn't have much of a crowd when there wasn't a musical act causing an issue between the original bar owner and the music booker. Booker was doing a great job bringing in acts for sure.

I heard the exact same thing about the bounced checks, lost liquor license etc. also heard they were seen stocking 1913 with liquor out of a pick up truck they had purchased at retail establishments and taken from their other bars. Not sure how long this can last

That's illegal. I'd love to see Delgado get his chops busted for that. Not sure what they could do other than maybe pull the liqueur licenses of his other businesses.

You mean the "took three years to not even get 12% of the vote" bloc?

Yeah, that bloc.

Combined with the black vote, that douche is delusional to think he can win.

He has no chance. He alienated the Republican base of EBR Parish. I hope he has town hall type gatherings during his campaign so I can go to one and ask him about how he expects to win after calling his base terrorists.

I'd totally watch this. Heck i'd show up in a black ninja robe and a giant fake beard with a St. George sign

I would take Delgado over broome. Atleast Delgado will do something for all of EBR and not just for north Baton Rouge.

That's why we need Smokie

Absolutely. With all the poor choices, Smokie becomes the least poor choice. He would be the most entertaining mayor in the least damaging way.

Plus, he hates Delgado. He showed up to speak at the Council meeting on the annexation of the mall just to troll him. He got up and called him Juan and said something to the effect that he was supprised at all the Taliban in the building. Chandler Loupe had to shut him down, but you could tell he thought it was funny.

Kip Holden is worried that gentrification will make Scotlandville less chocolate.

Untrue. If you knew anything about him, you'd know he was literally the best mayor BR has had in our lifetime.
