Schools are being cancelled because of lawyers. If a kid gets hurt at school during sever weather the school, parish, and who ever else will be sued.
Ironically the parents who are going to bitch and cry about schools closing are the first one in line to meet with the lawyers after something happens at school.

Too many sue happy people in the world to take a chance on something actually happening. Smart move to cancel school since they have unused hurricane days
