35 YTD, on pace to maybe pass the record of 170!

Yet Fentanyl OD deaths sharply lower YTD, are the people being killed Fentanyl addicts?

And school is out.

The murder rate under Broome has been something to behold.

Is BR even worth saving at this point?

White people can put us over the top if Whole Foods runs out of Sourdough. White people love sourdough.

Average homicides per year in Broome's mayoral term 2017-2023: 125

Average homicides per year in the 7 year period prior to Broome becoming mayor: 86

EBR's population has remained pretty stagnant during that time (maybe decreased a bit). Yet, homicides are up nearly 50% under her "leadership".

Baton Rouge would be Jackson, MS if not for LSU. And even that is not going to be enough to save it if the parish doesn't find new leadership ASAP (which doesn't seem likely).

At some point all the idiots using Fentanyl will die. The number of potential deaths dwindles.

Even the accidental deaths decrease as people become wary of potential fentanyl laced drugs.

Finally giving them the "equality" they want. Maybe they can die in wars, commit suicide, be the victims of violent crime, be homeless, fail out of school or get hurt at work as much as men, because right now they are not even close to men in any of these. There you go ladies, when are you going catch up? Oh and men die on average 8 year earlier so there is another goal for you all. #patriarchy

The only real solution is mass incarceration for violent criminals.

Yea, the solution is so simple that it's laughable.

There are a small percentage of humans that cause havoc on the population. The problem is identifying them. However, when you do identify them, they need to be separated from the rest of civilization.

There are thousands of them that have already been identified, yet they are allowed amongst us.

It's insanity.

To do so, non-violent drug offenders should be purely community service, probation, rehab. There is no reason to fill up our prisons with a bunch of dope heads.

Except often they steal to support their habit. Those need to be locked up.

Which is why I'm for legalization. The drugs actually cost pennies to produce. There is no reason a government created black market should drive up the price of a cheap commodity, resulting in violence and theft.
