Is it around 4,500 years old, like the Egyptologist have theorized?

Or is it much older as some geologist and other scientist have theorized?

Could advanced (not alien) civilizations existed well before what has been commonly accepted in academia? Did humanity experience a cataclysmic event that set us farther back, and for a much longer period of time, than the "dark ages"?

I think it was originally an Anubis statue that was modified later to look like the Pharaoh of the time. I think both the Great Pyramids and the Sphynx are far older than Egyptologists indicate.

Joe Rogan ep 1124 has the most interesting talk on this. I think the Geologists are right and the fact the Egypt wont let them use modern techniques to accurately track the true age tells us even more that it is much older than what most people think as Ancient Egypt.

The earth is only 6000 years old

It’s like some of y’all don’t read the Bible

I read years ago that a lot of the erosion seen on the sphinx is water erosion, not wind, and the level of water erosion indicates that it's older than Egyptologists say.

If the older age theorized by geologist is correct, the Sphinx would have lined up with the constellation Leo at the time of construction. That explains the body. Why the different head?

Also, the structure of the current face is distinctly sub-Saharan African. During which period would would this change of appearance taken place?

There were multiple Nubian dynasties of the Middle Kingdom where Cairo was located, so I would imagine one of those monarchs.

How would it erode in just the facial area then and not the lobe areas?

I'm assuming that's a joke, but it's accepted that the face has been recarved at least once, and more recently Napoleon's army shot it in the face with a cannon.

The original face had a beard.

I don't know much about ancient Egypt, but here is a cool picture of my grandfather and colleagues at the Sphinx/Giza during World War II.

He said Cairo was the dirtiest shithole on Earth and full of thieves, and claimed he climbed to the top of the Giza pyramid. May have been bullshitting me on the last one.

Also, one of the Muslim Caliphates chopped off the nose of the statue.

I think I’ve read somewhere it’s believed both the Sphinx and great pyramid were once under water

Extensive restoration has been performed on the Sphinx. The unaltered Sphinx temple, and to a lesser extent areas of the body, are where the most glaring geological discrepancies are present.

There are chambers underneath the structure that Egyptologist have not explored. Why would they not want to uncover more lost history?

The body of the cat may be 10,000+ years old.

The head much younger.

I think the offical Egyptologist are playing dumb with a lot of stuff and are hiding the real good shite.

Yeah I think they aren't telling us everything that they know.
