Was on the toilet. Thought I was having a stroke.

Never felt one before.

Couldn't imagine being closer to big one. Uneasy feeling

Y’all have crawfish in Tennessee?

Let me guess….you like to dust them and put mustard in them in an ice chest after they’re boiled, and you like to put magnesium citrate on them before the boil?

Yes! Is that what that was?
I was still in bed and was either half asleep or it woke me up with the house rattling for a second or two. Felt almost like it was coming from the attic. Thought it must have been a very heavy truck outside that had rumbled by.

In Knoxville.. definitely felt it.. weird. Thought it was a low flying plane from the air reserve at first, then the house shook for a few seconds and then nothing.

There was one in the 3s magnitude a few years ago that I slept through, this is the first I can remember experiencing.

Not "just south of Knoxville"

23km se of Greenback is in the depth of the mountains and just as deep.

Problem is, there are no towns, or even known crossroads near there. Probably no chimneys to knock down or shelved cans to knock off of non-existent store shelves. And the dudes on their Harleys on the Dragon won't have felt a thing.
